Ahoy,
Most of you are now getting to that level when NPC bashing just ain't giving you the horn anymore, may i suggest a weekly PVP event ?
"eek, PVP, i don't PVP ! - I Ain't gonna lose this bitching Frigate with Perma ! "
Well people, that's why it's called a Sloopathon ! you guessed it nothing but Sloops ! They are cheap ( i have over 15 Deeds if anyone wants one) yet fiery !
6 of us in Sloops can pack one punch ! find a few solo's, even if they are large we will stand a chance !
So what's to gain ?
We can work together as a team and learn from each other in combat and out of combat with chats about fittings.
Their is nothing to lose !
Above all FUN, flying the TLC Flags whilst storming red zones for a few hours will make for much laughter !
Maybe, just maybe, we might just get a pirates pay day too !
Yarrr !!
What night would be best for everyone ?
I don't think Friday would be a great night as that's when we have most of the PVE groups grinding XP, so how about Sunday ? or maybe a midweek event ?
Discuss,
My ship will be a Bermuda MC, Full Perma fittings for speed and damage. Bronze, Bar & Star shot !

Yeah, sign me up!
I've got a ship slot, 300k with nowt to spend it on and it'd be good training for me to not get too attached to my ships. With cheap multi-dura disposable ships, i am figuring that the choice of general fittings is important. Do you have any suggestions, Ralph?

For a pack, i would say speed and damage are important. Herza can make most fittings i think.
Speaking of Herza, he has set up a private vent server. For combat this would really help, if you don't mind my rendition of "The lion sleeps tonight" by tight fit !

How about Sunday nights 19:00 GMT till 21:00GMT ? (Most people are home sunday)
With people logging on and off, i think it should be quite easy to sustain a full group.

w/e evenings are a tw*t for me tbh. The missus is harsh about me being available for social intercourse evenings, cept fridays. I MAY be able to pul;l the sympathy vote with tonights disaster, she feels sorry for me an' keeps bringing me beer.

Well we had a bit of a noobship gankathon last night. Ralph/Daniel - Hermes PBs Me - MC Cutter
And later on: Matthieu/Heff - MC Postis
Although pickings were quite thin, we did find a few good ganks - notably a 49 in a deliverance.
I'd certainly give it another go.

Yea i really enjoyed it
got the heart racing especially when i spent most of me cash on the fittings for my Hermes MC (not postil)
Question Is pvping better 1. when you dont have a lot of cash so you risk more if ye get sunk? or 2. when ye have loads of cash so you just go gung hoe as ye can replace the ship easily if ye sunk?
