Am having a go at putting a ship together.
I've built up a fair amount of doubloons from the ammo sales, and will now spend it in the construction of a few ship deeds.
Will start with just a medium shipyard as this is more a trial to see what I'm able to put together at what cost without totally dismantling my ammo production facilities.
Anyone thats around and wanting ships of the small, medium or large ships let me know and i'll see if i can put it together before i revert production back to ammo.
I'll also make a fair bit of outfitting to flog on the markets (seems to be in short supply just now).

Hi,
my econ layout is as follows
Elena Navarro, level 29.5 Buccaneer; port: Ruddy Cove - General Planatation (i.e. Hemp, Beans, Wheat, Maize) - Lumber Mill - Carpenter - Tar Distillery - Textile Mill - Weaponsmith - Shipyard Medium->Large (going to upgrade at level 30)
The purpose of the Weaponsmith / Textile / Shipyard combination is to be able to build all outfittings. This also allows us to build ships every once in a while. It just will take quite a while.
I can also supply Hemp and Sail stuff to Carl Morris, in return I can get Powder and Forge stuff from him.
The biggest problem at the moment is access to Leather.
Eve Dequain, alternate character, lvl 8 Cuthroat; port: Matthew Town - Draughtman office
Regar.. err, Yarr! Elena

Cap'n Molkova should hopefully be ready to produce leather by now. Think her production is in Cat and Ruddy Cove.

I'm still into the cannon shot (all ammo types) and gunpowder and outfittings business.
I can sell any type of cannon ammunition at 50% or less of the average auction price. I can also manufacture any form of gun outfitting for any size of ship that you own. Give me a shout when I'm on if you need anything.
In the next month, I'm looking to open up a careening camp, and then, possibly a large shipyard, but will keep the ammunition manufacturing going as well.
I've currently got a draftsman slaving away in La Isabella. He'll be out on his ear soon, but I've built up a stock of all types of structure deeds, and will be happy to hand these over to any society member who wishes to dabble (or change) the economic set up they have.
I'm always looking to buy the following: Iron (max price 35db), copper (50db), zinc, gold and silver ingots. Hemp rope and oak blocks.
If i get the ship production going, I'll be after far more items.

OK I've forgotten where the economy thread is in this forum, and can't be bothered to find it now, but this is a major change so thought I'd note it: See this link: www.burningsea.com/page/news/article&article_id=11108Economy is being effected big time. For all the new members of the society, I reckon we should wait and see how this effects us before anyone goes and re-structures their economic build. Looks like we'll all be changing soon anyway.
