Seems a good time now that things are livening up to see if we have any budding artistes (of the paintbrush rather than the bottle variety).
The TLC Society flag flies proudly at the head of this forum and on our w/s but sails and personal flags and some-such will still be needed. I am not sure if we een have an 'official' main sail flag??
So if we have any budding artists lets get designing and link/display our offerings here!

Are FL holding it up cos of this alleged modern skull and the jaged edges. Jaggd edges I cant see what we can do about it, as Blue says its texture related, but the eye could come out - thatrs what makes it toony.

Are FL holding it up cos of this alleged modern skull and the jaged edges. . Well if it's got 5 stars after 14 days surely it's in? The comments about tooniness aren't from FRL, they're from annoying little wankers who will probably never see the flag in their lives. After all the shit i've had to put up with about this, coupled with the fact that that customer service twat saying i was lying about it being accepted before, it will not be pretty if this one gets rejected. My language will likely be "colourful".

this is the response ive had about the society being listed after my 3rd email to them
'Actually, we are trying to get through all of them this week. Let me know if you are still waiting on Monday. Sorry for the wait, there is a bit of a backlog.'

They're in the process of switching over to a new content voting system. They're supposed to do a mass accept/reject in a week or two.

I've printed out 100 flags, and have been logging in at various times, but there is never anyone on. I've only got 2 weeks left on my sub, and am on holiday from friday evening.
Heff or someone else, if you want the flags please give me a time to log on this evening when i can catch you. Preferably sometime between 8-10

trying to think iof who you based each character on in rl. Well there are one or two who you should have no problem recognising! Not all of them are supposed to be likenesses of real players but these definitely are: Joey Damien Rudolph Woody And to a lesser extent: Gavin (who is a few players rolled into one). Prizes for the first person to correctly identify them all! Really glad you're enjoying it. Maybe you'd consider writing me a review when you're finished?

Turwhitt, I've got you on my MSN now, so will check in there before logging into game (Jammystavros@hotmail.com).
I'm ususally on for an hour each evening some time between 19.00 and 23.00, and maybe early in the mornings.
I've placed a ship round Marsh harbour area, and have started collecting names of new players, and am trying to work out how to attract folk into the society. Don't think it looks too appealing to join if just me on line when i invite, but if i have plenty of flags and sails to offer, wont look quite so poor a prospect.
Also read "Away Day, was a good read, finished it in a weekend, and now my brothers burning his way through it.

Also read "Away Day, was a good read, finished it in a weekend, and now my brothers burning his way through it. Thanks, i appreciate you taking the chance to read it. Out of interest; are you a footy fan? I'd like to know if anyone who's not into footy has enjoyed it. Also, if you are so inclined, an Amazon review would be appreciated, even if it's just a few words. Yeah give me a shout next weekend if you're about, i can at least give you a bunch of flags.

Am i a football fan, not realy. I last watched a full match on TV in 2006, and the last live match I went to was in 2004, but I watch and know enough about football to pick up your inspiration for a few of the characters, and can get into a good game if there's nothing else to distract me.

Is there anyway to get accesss to the flags and sails via the POTBs web pages, or can only the creators of the flags and sails purchase them?

My first attempt at a sail. See if it gets past the sensors. Would welceom adivce on how to improve. If its liked, and gets thorough to game content then i'll make it available to anyone who cares to have a copy.
