I really like the new "guild philosophy" text. Sums everything up perfectly.

Dear Pirates, The new www.tlcpirates.co.uk/welcome%20page.html website is coming along. We have discovered that it is capable of containing an embedded forum (amongst other things) and I know that an embedded forum is something that one or two people have an interest in. Clearly the decision to move to this forum is in part based on the quality of the forum, and I have attached a link here to the demo pages of the forum in question: Please can we discuss the pros and cons of ditching this trusty old friend at proboards and moving to a new home within our new website. Clearly there is a lot of history and content in this forum and over 50 subscribers. Not all of these visit, and some that do won't move with us, but others may join as POTBS gathers pace, and perhaps if the forum is a no brainer to get to from the home website - who knows?? link to the demo area showing the potential new forum style and content: www.eblah.com/demo.phpnote that the demo forum refreshes every 12 hours so click on the 'click here' to refresh. Passwords are admin and admin for your demo forum, so you can check out the features while you are having a play.

I'm all up for an embedded forum. We can keep this one running, with big notices that we have moved, so any people who visit irregularly will know.
When the new forum and site are ready, we can also do a mail out to all the members telling them about it. It might even tempt some of the strangers back.
