It's yer old mate Ghost Rider. Now, Rayford Steele (British Naval Officer) Lvl 32
I was sailing my Stralsund Frigate near D'Lisle and along comes a Pirate by the name of 'Ralph Rodriguez' (Lvl 41 in an MC Packet Boat). He attacks me in the PvP zone as I am on my way to Caracas. At first, assuming I might be in trouble and that there may be more pirates out in OS, I start heading away from him to give myself time to figure out what I am up against. All the while, he is firing some chain shot at me. Once I realize that he only has 63 crew to my 200+ I figure I stand a better chance fighting than running as he is gaining on me fast. So I come about and start firing bar shot at him. Within a couple minutes the tide has turned heavily in my favor and Ralph is forced to sail away rather than loose his ship. He salutes me as a show of respect before leaving the instance. I returned the salute and felt good about the encounter.
Hope all is well with TLC. It's great to have an encounter with the Loose Cannons and I look forward to more in the near future.

Arr ahoy Ghost, tis Steevo AKA Jack Sprat. TLC welcomes you in for a grog and a chat. Ralphy, who will no doubt speak for himself, is currently our 'PvP monster'. I have learned a lot from him on this particular skill. Your encounter sounds typical Ralph 'fear not the losing of a ship' TLC is alive and well (as always could do with more active members in real time, but whats new and we are starting to get ourselves a bit more involved on the PvP side. Turwhitt and Heff are still pretty active and we have a few new 'perfect fits' for the TLC philosophy now in addition including Ralphy of course.

Ahoy Ray, I remember the fight, it's always bloody difficult to take down a Straslund with a skilled player like yourself at the helm I hope the next time we meet, the wind be in my favour, and your sails bereft of wind ! Ps. Nice to meet ya
