Pirates. . .Innnnn. . .Spaaaaaaaaace. Having a blast with my new hack ability - hacking enemy machines to go and attack their own. Never really a dull moment in this game and they certainly have endeavoured to take a lot of the grind out of MMO's. You want a crafting skill - just put points toward it. The instances are fast and furious. And the warzone map in the Divide area put Steevo in mind of the Somme and I am inclined to agree. books.guardian.co.uk/news/articles/0,,2207023,00.htm

Gah! You got me at a weak moment. Amazon's gain, my bank account's loss.
Ah well at least (i hope!) this one will last a bit longer than Lux.

I think my links get buggered after a double comma - because I tried to fix it five times and it wouldn't take.

Lux is still on my HD Turwhitt. It was a grand idea for a Friday night and still is. Not sure why we haven't gone back there. I am more than happy to play it.
I suspect the main reason is we don't at my end have anywhere near the number of Boys Nights we used to, plus Heff, to be fair hardly palys anything any more cos of his Family and working 22 hours a day. I really miss it TBH.

Any chance of us 4 getting onto TR tomorrow night? Friday night seems to be my best bet these days for some 'late night group action'

Tomorrow I set sail for New York - and then off to San Francisco the next day - but the following Friday after I finish some dreadfully boring classes I have to take yearly for my job is a good possibility. Otherwise I shall see you on throughout the week. The North Beach / Chinatown / Financial district overlap in San Fran used to be called the Barbary Coast because it was probably the roughest neighborhood on the entire continent in its heyday and many men were shanghaied : www.bcvc.net/history.htmAlso really interesting was the Old Ship Saloon, in fact the foundation of that neighborhood was built on the wrecks of every ship abandoned in the harbor during the gold rush (literally crews would just leave them in the bay such was their gold fever): findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4176/is_20060304/ai_n16180828The area was also the subject of several movies 'The Barbary Coast' (1935) and Flame of the Barbary Coast (1945).

Ah - we wore Turwhitt down at last. Well, i knew that your next "persuasion tactic" would be a good old-fashioned keel-hauling.

Cool. Sounds a bit like the pirate city in the final PoTC film.

Any suggestions as to what might be a good career path for me to complement you people? I'm being drawn to Commando, but i have a feeling that there will be a whole lot of commandoes...

I actually haven't seen all that many Commando's , well no more than other classes, it would be a great complimentary class as I have gone Specialist as as Trench so we are a bit light on the offensive front. Meanwhile Heff has not been seen since he bought the game ....

We need a good Commando! Both Steevo and I picked more support classes or with less potential dps. That would work, sir!
